DUDE

I TOTALLY SEE THE SILENT HILL IN THIS!
i want.

sculpted-cold responds:

I was playing Silent Hill: Homecoming earlier and this popped into my head, haha. :D

very jungle.

very jungle sounding. (jungle the genre, not the ecosystem)
i love.

this...

is the definition of house. enough said.

dj-Nate responds:

<3!

fuck dude, i love this.

it's great.

some of the background instruments need some more original sound.

otherwise, it's a keeper. dling it now.

flashmac responds:

I know what you mean. But Reason has a limited sound bank unless your good a mixing instruments. Thanks for the review dude

as a huge fan of those genres you mentioned...

i loved it, i think you need to add more background to it as the song progresses, but it is short, so maybe make it longer as well.

i really love this though.

(unfortunately, i don't think other people will get it at all... people are just too sucked up but all that generic trance stuff, that i'm tired of hearing, espicially cause it all sounds the same...)

powerful.

pads + kick = powerful combo

the lead sounded very powerful.

just make a good fast break and it'll be fucking awesome, like a good rave song.

this is good originality, i think the beat's lacking with that snare. that snare just doesn't cut it, i think the shape of it needs to be changed and it's beat.

otherwise, i love it.

DjTeChniQue responds:

dam good review .. thxs alot bro!

man...

this totally takes me back to when i played 1080 snowboarding for N64.
this song gives a very nostalgic feeling if you've played the game.

i really loved it. download yes.

RobPoppy responds:

TY. =)

good for what it is.

not trying to discourage, but instead educate.

i can tell this was made on fruity loops. since one of your loops is from it and the overall sound/quality gives it the FL fingerprint. not saying it's bad, but many people consider originality as a factor of artist's work and many will criticize this.

if you're which i'm going to assume you are, i'd say this is very good. espicially since your composition is excellent. try working on making a more original sound. using VST instrument plugins which you can find many on the internet for free is a great way to make your own sound.

another when using drum kits and things of the sort is to use soft clippers and filters (FL has them, internet has more) that you can use to shape those sounds and make them sound original.

i enjoyed listening to this.

keep it up, practice makes perfect. (not that i'm any good...)

thank you.

thank you for writing this. it's a download for sure.

Monkeyharhar responds:

You are very welcome. ^_^

wow.

like finally something different than all the same trance stuff i keep hearing on this site.

download for sure.
i like your style, please keep it up, and hopefully this'll make people realize there's more to music than the generic trance crap i keep hearing.

(no offense to trance, i love it, but... too much, and all the same on newgrounds)

DJ-NOSEBLEED responds:

Yeah, a lot of trance on NG is very generic. But i love trance, and artists like G-R4ve and Dj-N are keeping good trance alive, so all reps go out to those who put effort into their trance.
Thanks for the review.
